Curiosity Lounge is a hybrid calendar presence that hosts and homes events under the banner of 'CuriosityLounge'. It is built around the community attending activity scheduled by the Curiosity Lounge team at PCM immersive staging. The result is a hub for persistance attention. Wednesday's is CuriosityLounge.
Offline (in-person**) | Online Video | WebXR via Browser | VR HeadsetEach event is held across one, more or all of these attendence options. In-person only would be 'offline' VR Only, 'Virtual' - in practive the majority of CuriosityLounge events are hybrid operting with a digital bridge most often an online video call 'Digital' which facilitates access for those geolocated too far, time-poor or with care responsibilities, those with LowSpoonsNoSpoons... common in all circumstances... unable to travel.
*mostly... Curiosity Lounge is about persistent presence and that is not always Wednesday. Opportunities to be present not on Wednesday's can be CuriosityLoung adjacent and included in the CuriosityLounge programme.

**In-Person
The Collins dictionary defines 'in person' attenence to be
a. physically present
b. without the help or intervention of others
Curiosity Lounge begs to differ... your 'person' is present when physically at a venue, at a desk through a video call or as an avatar logged in to a webXR browser or wearing a VR headset. There is no barrier to curiosity, there is no boundaries to conscious presence.

An important part of Curiosity Lounge is its persistance. Events take place but the location, the venue, the point of presence remains.
Currently it's persistant hub is hosted in FrameVR providing a 'mean-while' home for like-minded Curiosity Lounge members. Curiosity Lounge is FREE. Some events are ticketed. In future a subscription tier for pioneers and concept champions will be introduced. For the Curious the door to the hub lounge will always be open. |

Propinquity
Propinquity means nearness in physical location, time, or a close relationship between people.
It comes from a Latin word meaning "near" and is often used in psychology to explain how being close to others helps build friendships.
- Physical closeness: Being near someone or something in space or distance.
- Time closeness: Being near in time or a sequence of events.
- Family or social ties: A close biological or emotional kinship
Curiosity Lounge Captain - Caron Jane Lyon, often uses the sign off "Propiquity y'all" on posts. Her way to affectionately depart until the next encounter.
